Above and Beyond

The Above and Beyond Program  was established to provide a special opportunity for patients and  their families members to express their thanks for extraordinary care provided by a staff member, physician or volunteer by making a donation in their honor to the Foundation. Making a donation to honor a remarkable caregiver is a meaningful way to express your appreciation and an action that will have enduring benefits to future patients.

Compassionate Care Fund

The Foundation recently started a new Compassionate Care Fund to purchase those items that do not make it on the Hospital priority list but are a priority for the comfort and care of our patients and their families.

For example, funds from the Compassionate Care Fund were used to purchase an IPAD for the long term care unit. The IPAD is used to help in cognitive therapy.

Most recently, the Foundation purchased a new recliner for the long term care unit. The focus of the Compassionate Care Fund is to make our patient stay as comfortable as possible.
