The Kemptville District Hospital Foundation extends its sincere thanks to Tim Hortons in Kemptville and their staff for their outstanding support during Smile Cookie Week. From April 27 to May 3, Tim Hortons restaurants in Kemptville raised an outstanding $23,133.68 in support of a new mammography machine for Kemptville District Hospital.

During the annual campaign, 100% of proceeds from every Smile Cookie sold were donated to local charities, community groups, and youth organizations across Canada. In Kemptville, funds raised will help bring upgraded 3D mammography technology to KDH, supporting earlier detection and improved care for patients close to home.

A cheque presentation was held on May 11. In attendance were Katrina Wallace, Tim Hortons Manager; Cindy Smith, Executive Director, KDH Foundation; Margret Norenberg, Board Chair, KDH Foundation; and Ingrid Kohling, Tim Hortons Franchise Owner.

The KDH Foundation extends its sincere thanks to Tim Hortons and to everyone who purchased a Smile Cookie and helped make this year’s campaign such a tremendous success.
