Fitness for a Cause

When it comes to combining sweat with generosity, Kim Stapleton of KS Fitness is leading the way! Recently, she organized a rowing challenge where participants racked up an astonishing 799,102 metres (nearly 800 km!) raising $1,480 toward a new Mammography machine for Kemptville District Hospital.

But this isn’t Kim’s first fitness-for-good initiative. Over Thanksgiving weekend, she powered through 7 hours of non-stop fitness in support of the Mammography campaign and has led several events for the CT Scanner Campaign, including step aerobics, six hours of spinning, and even a milestone birthday! Her dedication continues to inspire the community to move, laugh, and give back.

“Fitness isn’t just about personal goals,” Kim says. “It’s about using our energy to make a real difference for people in our community.”

Thanks to her effort, energy, and endless enthusiasm, KDH patients have benefited and will continue to benefit from life-saving equipment proving that giving back can be a total workout!
